Meditations-Pr.7:2-3 “Spiritual cues”

A cue is used in the same sense as stage directions written down in dramaturgy. The Holy Ghost the third office in Trinity has diverse cues that are all distributed through the body of the Scripture. Baptism by water for instance is a sacrament where the death is enacted in one world so one is alive in another.

The Israelites passing through sea and eating the same spiritual food gives us how a nation is bonded by shared experience. “They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea(1 Co.10:2-NIV) They were baptized unto Moses. This is an event we read of the history of the nation of Israel. This explains the world of flesh. When Jesus came to the world he observed the same sacrament under the hands of John the Baptist. He was introducing the world of the Spirit and as the Son of Man he fulfilled it since God, a Spirit required a visible cue for the world where faith was the new watchword. ” For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life(John 3:16)”. Whosoever is not Jew alone; nor does it refer to disciples,; nor does refer to white, black or brown. Wherever there is Spirit there is liberty. Under this whosever is universal so frontlets enjoined on the jew is set in the heart of a believer. “Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads(De.6:8).” Such cues are used by the Spirit so symbols are not for themselves but refer to the Father Son relationship.

First we shall take up the eye. When the Spirits writes ‘for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye(Ze.2:8;De.32:10). The nation of Israel serves the primary purpose in the same manner as the Law of Moses served, and we have a symbol to indicate it is so. These stone tables speak only of the world of flesh which is cancelled after the original fulfilled his Father’s mandate(John 3:16). This is how St Paul compares the two.”Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart(2 Co.3:3)”.

Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye./ Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.

When Christ dwells in us by faith ‘binding upon thy fingers’ holds a different dimension, does it not? Remember Jesus defended the healing of the demon possessed, by these words.”But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you(Luke 11:20). Do we run after mammon in order to handle heresies in serve to the Adversary. “For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out./ And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

“But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition./ For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows(1 Ti.6:6-10)”. Activism of those who follow heresies ends in wounds that is described here,”He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks;/ Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life(7:22-23). Heart of false ministers seeks its treasure but ‘caul’ explains something else,- their liver is pierced through signifying it was not full surrender of themselves at the altar call. Total sanctification is needful for wisdom to do its perfect work.
