The Signs of Christ’s Coming

In accordance with what Jesus predicted (Matt.24:29) after the great tribulation the following cosmic events shall take place:

1.Sun is darkened; the moon shall not give her light.
2. Stars shall fall from heaven(Re.6:13)
3. And the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
After these appears the sign of the Son of man in heaven. At this point all the tribes of the earth mourn. This is a public event to which we have a verse from the Book of the Revelation “Behold he cometh with the clouds; and every eye shall see him…(Re.1:7”
The Spirit is telescoping events and time frame is God’s Time. The stars as signs (Ge.1:14).
What Jesus predicted above is revealed in the vision where the Lamb breaks seals. “And the stars of heaven fell into the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind(Re.6:13).” It is significant that the gospel records the parable of Jesus immediately following his discourse, “Now learn a parable of the fig tree…(Matt.24:32).” The fig tree as a symbol for Israel figures in both. The Spirit while recording a saying of the Son of man or setting up a vision concerning the last days is consistent. Needless to say further on the inerrancy of the word of God.

“And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places (v.12-14)”.
Here we have a prediction coming true. “For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; (Haggai 2:6)” and it is indicative of divine wrath (Ps.18:7)”
“Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.(He.12:26).”
We have in the epistle to the Hebrews about earth and heaven as a whole being put through a wringer of sorts and it is the ‘great day of his wrath (v.17).’ We shall soon come to it. Here what we need keep in mind is that there are things are cast out but some things shall remain. Let us go back to the verse quoted from the Hebrews, “This expression “Yet once more,” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain (He.12:27,26-NASB)”. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth (Ge.1:1) What shall remain one may conclude is new heaven and the new earth. It is as new song that only an hundred and forty and four thousand redeemed from the earth could learn (Re.14:3) This new song would surely indicate before and after state of the day of the Lord, is it not?
New earth and new heaven signify the point when the Salvation Plan of God is completed.
Those who failed to take warning given in so many ways must be clever in superficial things but foolish as to ignore the most important, saving of their souls. They know how to create wealth but cannot take past with their death. They know how to rise to the top of the pile but cannot remain there. Without God what shall be these leaders of men Corporate Czars and celebrities be called? Enemies to good sense and bad role models. “I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies( Ps.139:22; Jn.2:16-17)”. Wrath of the Lamb is interchangeable with of the Father. When the Son says, behold I make all things new (Re.21:5)his testimony is true since He fulfilled his Father’s Will.
Hence it is all the more imperative that we pay full attention to the warning, “Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way (Ps.2:12).”
