Kingdom of Heaven: mode of inversion(cont’d)

Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart (2 Co.3:3)”.

“And his name shall be in their foreheads (Re.22:4).” Mode of inversion speaks of the state where death holds no more dominion over His servants. It signifies their spiritual bodies.
God sent the Son with a clear mandate to the world. The Word made flesh thus dwelt among men. It is counted according to earth time. His earthly ministry barely lasted three and half years. To those who received him he gave the power to be the sons of God. This Sonship is however counted in God’s Time. Being foreordained consequently would mean being adopted in God through the Son. It is what the emblem of the slain lamb would signify. As many as are led by the Spirit they are sons of God. This indwelling Spirit also attests what we are. We have transcended the earth time on account of the earnest that is given us.
The word within us is an experience that is empowered by indwelling Spirit. What is the role of the Spirit? He is the spirit of truth and his purpose is ‘instruction in righteousness (2 Ti.3:16).’ Christian Living is thus set in context of the word forever settled in heaven (Ps.119:89) An emblem is a symbol that does not change. Thus the Word, as testimony of God is also an emblem. So is the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. God the Son is the image of the invisible God who revealed Truth. “I am the Way and the truth and the life(Jn.14:6).” He could affirm it because he and his Father were one (Jn.10:30). It is the very eternal nature of the Word which we received “No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it”.(Deut.30:14-NIV; Ro.10:8) when we confess him we have the kingdom of heaven inscribed on our ‘fleshy tablets of heart.’This is the Salvation Plan of God “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved (Ro.10:9-NIV).” When Paul speaks of third heaven (2 Co.12:2) we may be sure heaven is not merely uniform any more than a day is. We had earlier discussed light and darkness, day and night, evening and morning as distinct from one other. It is like spiritual gifts “There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them(1 Co.12:4-NIV)”. With our lives being hid in Christ we have cast our anchor past the veil and Heaven is not merely a state of feeling but real. It is not third heaven that is our present concern that our adoption in God. ‘Heavenly places’ is as good as to be true to our calling while in our bodies. Christian Living is an abiding life with the risen Christ in glory. He has promised us a kingdom and we strive as much as possible to reach our goal. So help us through the precious blood of Jesus, Oh Lord God, Amen
