Law of Gradation

Glory of the word has been sent to the earth and how it is clarified is a gradual process. How does one find objective lessons from nature but with keen observation? As with natural man so is a spiritual man among his own kind, both observing nature for lessons. Glory of God has left pointers to him to know.
“For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear(Mk.4:28)”. This analogy is specifically applied to the nature of kingdom of God. So the symbols used here must be set in context of heavenly realities. What is this seed? It is from God. “But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body (1 Co.15:38)”. “When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else(vs.37).
Christian Living means the word sown in our hearts becomes spiritual bodies equipped for heavenly places. The indwelling Spirit works quietly clarifying our inclinations and distraction into something coherent. It takes a while for the word to have its perfect working. The analogy of leaven (Mt.13:33)is used not in traditional sense. In three measures of meal (body, spirit and soul) the word is hidden and it transforms the whole. It is how Christian Living equips and prepares each of us for heavenly places. The Spirit of truth works unseen as comforter as well as counsellor instructing us in righteousness.
Law of Gradation explains how the tripartite man each with attendant needs find a right equipoise. Body has its needs as our inner man while the indwelling Spirit serves as in-house tutor. Soul has its own requirement. It is his identity and how his visible world and his inner world are matched shall in no wise be the same for all. It is as personal as fingerprint. Only distinction is that anyone in Christ shall make these two hang on so the Savior is glorified.(‘Not I but Christ who lives in me would be the credo’ of the soul.) The law of gradation is the means for a believer to find where his priorities lay. It is an order for eternity beginning now. After death spiritual bodies are part and parcel of the Body of Christ that is to be revealed in eternity.
The Spirit helps us to search and sort out tangled skeins of our lives and give past events a place. Some of these events would bring insight as to the truth that they were not accidents but a hint for us to work with: just as many pursuits in our former lives proving to be deadweight are to be thrown away. From insights gained by study of the word and by the indwelling spirit we create a new pattern. It is not for any specific part of the body but for whole body. Law of gradation is with regards to Christian Living in body as well as in eternity. If given to social life and gossip the born again believer has to determine if such conversation leads to idle prattle or babbling to use the Biblical expression, or not. Similarly for those who threw money away for frivolities, thrift and saving habit to spend for good cause shall create a new pattern. Gradation in orderly stages covers the entire spectrum of Christian Living. It is what signified by spiritual bodies. Compare this with what Apostle James says in Jas.1:17. With God there is no shifting shadows but reality. Afterall the body is discarded at death. The inner man is the new spiritual body around his soul. Shall we treat the spiritual body as former man inside out: what was earthy is left behind but what is spiritual continuing about soul?
Law of Gradation is not a scriptural term but as a tool for each believer to compare and sort out so Christian Living is begun in right earnest while in body.
