Man and Angel-2

Law of Gradation
Salvation is not for angels who are spirits (Ps.104:4). “Are they (angels) not ministering Spirits, sent to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? (He.1:13-14). These angels are sent on errands and are set to do specific tasks. For instance we read of four angels standing on the four corners of the earth (Re.7:1). They are seen in the vision as holding four winds of the earth.
Similarly angels are sent as explainers to prophets and seers whose wisdom is directed at the command of God. Daniel was one such. In the Book of Zechariah we read of four horses and four carpenters(Zec.1). What does this number stand for? Four is a tag with which the Spirit staples the events of the earth with that of heaven. By the same token seven is a number applied to the memorial set in heaven. In the vision of John Jesus Christ is shown walking in the midst of seven candlesticks.
“And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle(Re.1:13)”.This candlestick is a clear indication of Israel as being the apple of the eye of the Lord. The nation might have fallen off but they are forever as a memorial set before God in heaven. These also double for seven churches that are representation of every assembly and churches,- both good and bad and the names are hold-all signifying nothing beyond a label tacked on to it. What we are here concerned is the star in the hand Jesus Christ. “The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches(Re.1:20)”.
Perhaps one might take me to task for including the nation of Israel in this context. We shall see when the holy city of God is revealed the throne of God and the Lamb is a composite picture of Jews and the Gentiles among the kings and priests being included. No more formalism as existed on the earth but kings and priests to reign with God and the Lamb in eternity. As with the Spirit who arranges the symbols, and the narrative mode, the vision of the golden candlestick gives relevance to the two olive trees feeding the golden lamp stand(Ze.4). Its significance is supplied at the end of the chapter. They are the two anointed one that stand by the Lord of the whole earth. They bear
‘the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit (2 Cor.13:14).’They are shown bearing witness before the Kingdom of Christ is ushered in(Re.11).
Each star in the hand of Christ in glory is a ministering angel and also witness to Christ’s warning to the seven churches.(Re.3:19-22). This formula is significant: “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches’ has a witness in the concerned angel. Thus seven angels are pressed in service to warn the believing world, “He that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne..(Re.3:21). Here we have a word caution to the modern evangelicals that overcomers are not those who hunt with dogs as well as run with the hares. They may call themselves Moral Majority, Calvinists,Baptists or Seventh-Day Adventists but no matter. “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you(2 Co.6:17)”.
Law of Gradation allows with the means of a symbol to present several similar things in order to show where each lacks and wherewith to overcome what is wrong, The chapters two and three of the Book of Revelation are an example of the law.
