Testimony of God: spirit of prophecy

One might wonder what is the goal of the Holy Spirit in reorganizing the Scripture. We have the testimony of Jesus as to the role of the Spirit. Before his coming death (as was foreordained) he comforted the disciples that it was expedient for them that he went to his Father. With outpouring of the Spirit he would serve as a Comforter on the earth while he sat on the right hand of the Father as an intercessor.  The indwelling Spirit is the spirit of truth. Task of the Spirit that was to come after his Ascension, was to glorify the Son and not teach them to speak like a sophist using words to dazzle . “…For the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say  (Lk.12:12-NIV).”It must be how we witness God in everyday lives and in extreme situations.
When we read the Scripture we are left with no doubt as to the role of Jesus Christ. God the Son is the fulcrum about which we are impacted in Core Will. Therefor the Spirit has reworked the entire narrative of the Father- Son relationship about God the Son. He is qualified as Alpha and Omega. To this effect we shall see several passages recast on a mode that is the Mode of Inversion. For example: “So the last will be first, and the first will be last (Mt.20:16).” When the Spirit of truth convinces you that through our Savior Lord we are included in the relationship it it not all the more reason to  conduct ourselves as pilgrims and sojourners on this earth?
In the story of Jonah we see his disobedience placed everyone in that Tarshish- bound ship into danger. Similarly disobedience of Adam placed the entire mankind marked for death. “For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous…  just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Ro.5:19,21-NIV) “.

Obedience of one man made Sovereign grace of God work unto salvation. It is what many stories in the Bible illustrate. Obedience of one for all. Ship and the world are emblems of this mode. Faith of those who approach is most crucial. Either you belong to children of light or those who belong to darkness.”Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son(Jn.3:18-NIV). Obedience of the Son of man by the same token serves as Atonement for all who would be saved. When Egypt was judged the Firstborn in the land were killed because of one man. Pharaoh’s disobedience. Sin exacts punishment and God has already paid it. We already discussed about God’s Time where the Lamb slain before world began is the template into which salvation of mankind shall be decided.

Testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy (Re.19:10)

The Book of Joel speaks of God bringing again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem (3:1) Many captivities and gatherings have gone on record as events but here we have all nations coming down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. It shall be ‘in those days’ and ‘in that time’. What is the day of the Lord? This expression validates God’s Time, Gathering of Jews in post WWII was one among many such beginning with Moses leading them to Canaan. All the Israelites who perished in the wilderness before reaching Canaan was one such. Day of the Lord is like the Creation Day.  Six days of creation is a kangaroo word for period of Time in God’s calendar. So many days shall be set as day of the Lord each telescoping into each other. Joel predicts multitudes (3:14)and it is not what happened when Jews were allowed to found their state in 1948 It is one event. Six-day war was Day of the Lord. It shall telescope yet into another day. This must be so till the climax when Millennial Reign of the Anointed One begins. All judgment is given to God the Son (Jn.5:27)

God alone knows when the final Day occurs.

God shall sit as a refiner purifying those who would be saved. He shall in no wise cast out those who approach him in humility and in need. “Tarry until I come” is the watchword for all those who have accepted his sovereignty. Lk.10:12 Mt.10:15 When Jesus predicts what fate awaits the cities that refused to receive his disciples it is spoken in God’s Time similar to the conditions spoken in the Day of the Lord.

Lastly Herod put to death all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under,…Then what was spoken through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled: Mt.2:16-18 As with Time aggregate total number of innocents killed (over many such events as in the case of Day of the Lord) does not contradict the high number.

Inerrancy of the Bible is the key word that must work in every Bible student.
